SIMCAC is proud to announce a series of CxO Exclusive breakfast meetings based around the restarting of the economy and business after Covid 19 Quarantine. The past few months have created a series of unexpected priorities and projects in IT. As leaders and executives, our focus in many cases has shifted from day to day operations and slated projects to emergency planning, pandemic support, and reinventing our businesses remotely. As we enter the last month of the 2^nd quarter, many of us are faced with restarting our business and the what the “new normal” may look like. The value behind our network in SIM is having a safe space to talk with our peers, hear others perspectives, and learn from each other. To support our network, SIMCAC will begin hosting a monthly virtual breakfast event via Zoom. Starting on Friday June 5^th at 7:30am, and the first Friday of every month for the balance of 2020, we invite our members who hold a C level title (or are the highest ranking IT executive in their organization) to participate. We will kick off with a discussion around what it means to restart, moderated by Mike Huthwaite and led by a presentation from Michael Cannon, CTO for Stafford County, VA, as they begin planning to open not only the government offices, but all public facilities.
