Employees struggle to balance the demands of their job against the tantalizing pull of social media. Our discussion will cover the science of technology addiction, its staggering impact on the workforce and workplace, and offer insight into how corporate policies can empower leaders to mitigate and reduce technology addiction in the workplace. Dr. Lisa Strohman is a clinical psychologist, attorney, author, public speaker and the founder and director of Digital Citizen Academy, which she established to prevent and educate on technology misuse. Dr. Strohman has spent more than a decade working in her private practice, and career working with schools to address challenges with student mental health and well-being and with law enforcement and the FBI on safety and cybercrimes involving adolescents. Dr. Strohman is an international speaker at schools, parent organizations, and business and community groups, where she addresses the challenges of raising responsible digital citizens. She is regularly featured in publications and news media outlets wellness and behavioral expert.
