The vaccine rollout is opening up possibilities for where we work and how we work. As we grapple with what the “new normal” looks like, we must acknowledge that there were (and remain) several populations disproportionately affected by COVID-19, and those discrepancies have long-term implications. As of January 2021, over 2.3 million women had left the workforce in the U.S., setting back years of progress in gender equality and representation. In this special Panel Event, hear from prominent local Women Technology Leaders on how the pandemic affected their careers and teams, what they learned from this unprecedented time, and of their plans to recalibrate and rebuild towards a more inclusive and equitable workplace. Hear from our panelists: Laury Miller, CIO, SeaGen; Tanya Hannah, CIO, King County; Tiffany Ash, VP, Corporate Strategy at Tableau Software; Margaret Hopkins, CIO, PSE Moderator: Liliane Lendvai, Director, Herd Freed Hartz

Laury Miller is a seasoned IT leader with more than 30 years of experience delivering complex technological solutions and revenue-generating results at major multinational corporations including Amazon and Microsoft. She rose to Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Global IT for Seagen in March 2020, where she has overseen the Seagen’s digital transformation during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tanya develops and executes Seagen’s IT vision and strategy, partnering with others on the executive team to define technology opportunities and innovate next-generation oncology therapies.
