“Most seasoned managers know how to handle formal negotiations at work—with clients over contracts, with bosses over budgets, with employer’s overcompensation. But what about all the opportunities for informal negotiations that arise? Do you know how to recognize and seize chances to move into a better role, change an untenable situation, or ensure that you get credit for extra work?” – Deborah Kolib (HBR)

Join our accomplished panelists as they share the challenges and lessons learned along their journeys.  The topics, moderated by Sacha Bacho of Netfoundry will include the “social cost of asking”, recognizing opportunities for “informal negotiations” and tactics to build your value.

Our Panelists

Tiffany Volker - Director, Business Management Engagement Kaiser Permanente
Tiffany has worked in the healthcare industry for the last twenty years, half of those being in the information technology space. She currently leads the business management engagement team for Kaiser Permanente’s Care Delivery Technology Services (CDTS) group. Her team is responsible for running ‘IT as a business’; including business operations, strategic goals/initiatives, and employee engagement.

Having had a somewhat unconventional journey to leadership, Tiffany strives to be an advocate for others. Her career has spanned internal controls, process improvement, consulting, program management, systems administration and leadership roles.

Tiffany loves to spend time adventuring outside with her two ‘kids’ (21 and 16) and is in a never ending battle – for her backyard – against some very resilient moles!

Erin McCune – CEO Easeenet
Erin has worked in technology for over 15 years, in sales, partnerships, and leadership roles. She founded a tech startup, Easeenet.com, in 2018, and just transitioned it from a side hustle to full time in April 2021, and has since won/placed in five pitch competitions. A tech nerd at heart, Erin always drives to find the most elegant, efficient way to optimize solutions and strategy. When not at work, Erin loves to travel, cook, and read.
