In this talk, Suzanne Admans, VP at Gartner, will discuss the finding of a recent Gartner report on the future of remote and Hybrid workforce. The findings show: - There are no established best practices, methodologies, or roadmaps for what works and what to avoid redesigning the future of work. Unless organizational leaders define workforce and business priorities with relevant goals in advance, they cannot assess how well the hybrid environment meets enterprise priorities. A highly dynamic environment requires an iterative approach through testing, experimenting, learning, and exploring new options.
- A human-centric work design is new to organizations and leaders. Unless enterprise priorities are grounded in an honest appraisal of past performance and current organizational challenges, leaders cannot establish a realistic set of expectations for the future.
- Adapting to a hybrid work environment using a human-centric work design approach cannot be accomplished with a traditional project plan or schedule. Leaders who focus on a controlled deployment approach instead of staying focused on enterprise objectives will be unable to adjust the strategy as needed to achieve workforce and business benefits
