Please join us for an open conversation on the topic of Allyship with our panelists who both have accomplished careers.  The studies show that 92% of people feel that allies have been valuable in their career.  Those with at least one ally in their workplace are nearly twice as likely to feel like they belong and are satisfied with their workplace culture and job role.

We will address the following areas:

- The impact of allyship on their careers

- Finding and creating allies in your workspace

- Developing allyship as part of your team culture

Our Panelists

Elyse Rosenberg:

Elyse Rosenberg is the Deputy Chief Technology Officer and Deputy Director of the City of Portland’s Bureau of Technology Services. Her role includes oversite of applications and production services, customer support, project and business relationship management, and enterprise architecture. Elyse is in her 25th year of local government service and has worked in a variety of strategic, financial, and policy roles in arenas including technology, finance, environmental protection, and aviation. She is married to the wonderful Matt, has two rescue dogs, and enjoys fiddling and singing in various musical projects.

Wendy Lindsey

Wendy Lindsey is the Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer at Okta. She grew up as a Montana farm girl and ended up moving to Utah, putting herself through college to earn a degree in Computer Science.  She has worked as a software developer for 18 years and another 8 years as a pre-sales solutions engineer.  She is married to a fellow nerd and together they share 7 children.  Splitting family responsibility and full time work has been a delicate balance with lots of rewards, struggles, and growth along the way but it’s all been worth it!  Outside of kids’ activities and work she enjoys travel, food, music, documentaries, interior design, anything artistic, and relaxing in the sun.

Sacha Basho

Sacha Basho is the Regional VP of Sales at NetFoundy and will serve as the moderator of the Panel discussion.
