As we have done in years past, we will be volunteering and supporting the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) this November.  Please register to join us. 

Participation is limited to the first 25 registrants, due to space.

AFAC’s Mission is to provide dignified access to free groceries, which allows families to devote their limited financial resources to obligations such as housing, utilities, medication, and other basic needs.

This year, SIM will be making a $2,500 donation to AFAC towards the purchase of several thousand pounds of bulk dry goods (beans, rice, or the like) that we will bag together as a community.  Join us at the NRECA offices to help with this worthwhile effort.  We will supply pizza and beverages.  Come dressed comfortably and be prepared to be on your feet.

If you park in the NRECA garage – take the elevator to the PL level.  This is the Lobby level (same level you would access if you come in from the street.) Tell the desk attendant that you are joining the SIM event and then take the main elevators down to P1.  From there, you should see the P4 Conference room.
