3rd Party Partners are responsible for a significant number of data breaches. According to the Verizon 2022 Data Breach Investigations Report, 62% of all data breaches happen via 3rd party vendors. Additionally, IBM and the Ponemon Institute report that on average, a company takes 277 days to identify and contain a 3rd party data breach.

About the Speakers:  Tracy J. Wilson is the manager of Enterprise Services for Modern Woodmen of America, a fraternal financial services organization based in Rock Island, Ill. Tracy’s extensive Modern Woodmen career began in 1986. Following roles as an actuarial mathematician and management trainee, she was named supervisor in the Members’ Service Department in 2000. Tracy joined the Project Management Office upon its formation in 2011 and was promoted to manager of that department in 2014. She later served as project manager for the organization’s policy administration system revamp efforts before taking on her current role as manager of Enterprise Services in 2016. In her current position, Tracy is responsible for implementing, maintaining and providing governance of the enterprise vendor management program, including coaching, mentoring and training others on the vendor management processes. She also develops and socializes third-party, risk-management procedures and monitors reporting changes in risk levels. Additionally, Tracy provides senior management necessary vendor and risk data to support well-informed decisions to improve operational efficiencies, decrease costs, minimize risks, and most importantly, protect members' futures. Tracy earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and holds designations Fellow, Life Management Institute and Professional, Customer Service. She is accredited by the Project Management Institute and attended the St. Ambrose University Leadership Academy. Additionally, Tracy is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Society for Information Management’s Information Technology Procurement Working Group. She and her husband, Jeff, have four children.

Koorosh is an active member of professional associations including the c0-chair of the IT Procurement Working Group of the Society for Information Management, the Maryland & DC Bar Association, and the Iranian American Bar Association. His career spans across notable companies such as Marriott International and MedImmune/AstraZeneca, and he has received recognition for his exceptional contributions in legal and procurement spheres.
 Harvey Nusz is a vCPO / vDPO, and Privacy, Security, Compliance, Encryption, Process, Business Continuity/DR, security architecture and Audit Professional who has helped companies get compliant and be secure with FCPA, Sox, HIPAA, FISMA Moderate, NYDFS CRR500 Cybersecurity Regulation, PCI-DSS, and has been concentrating on Privacy Shield, GDPR, LGPD, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) since August, 2015. He has performed over 400 Risk and Privacy Assessments, and speaks frequently on Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Compliance related topics, nationally and locally, and at times internationally.
