Join us as Mark Taylor, CEO of SIM discusses how you can gain the most from your engagement with the SIM community for you and your leadership team.

And a peek into what is in development that will bring even greater value.

Mark A. Taylor

Mark Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Society for Information Management.

As the chief visionary of SIM, Mark serves a team of 5000+ IT Leaders from Large Cap and Mid-Market companies and Non-Profits organizations from across the country.

Mark is an experienced business executive, leader & strategist. Expert in business operations, sales & marketing, technology, & finance.

Mark’s unique ability to build bridges between         executives, chapters, members, & partners - builds a platform of trust that is leading SIM forward as a key influencer in the development of the next generation of IT leaders.

Before devoting his work fulltime at SIM, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer of CMP Management, an Association Management Company, and led the team that developed & executed a strategy that doubled the revenue & profit of the company in 5 years.

As CEO & VP of Sales of ClearCube Technology, Mark led the company which focused on Virtual Desktop Technology in High Security/High Performance environments. With clients in the US Department of Defense, International Governments and Financial Services, his teams delivered the largest deals in company history.

With 15 years as a Sales Leader in the networking VAR market, Mark lead the top performing sales teams serving Commercial, State and Local Government and Education segments.

Mark is a specialist in navigating complex environments – a skill he learned from his boyhood. As the youngest of 11, Mark learned quickly how to “calm the chaos” and keep a group of diverse personalities on the same page and moving forward.

Mark’s commitment to developing leaders grew from a recognition that the effect of a leader's decisions cascade to the lives of their teams, investors, clients and communities.

Mark lives in Austin, Texas with his lovely wife, Darla, and enjoys spending time with (spoiling) his five spunky granddaughters.
