SIM Portland Women Event

Join our SIM Women community for networking, beverages and discovery around the topic of Energy Leadership. We will explore how we show up at work, at home, and for ourselves?  We will discuss how to approach situations with intention and understand our unconscious patterns with the purpose of improving all areas of our lives, whether it’s our health and well-being, our relationships, or our leadership skills. We have more choices than we think, and Energy Leadership can help us see the choices that are available. Applying Energy Leadership to our lives can help us feel better about ourselves, be more productive, and improve our overall life satisfaction.

At the conclusion of our gathering, we will walk away with:
  • A new perspective on how our energy affects how we show up in the different areas of our lives
  • Insight into what kind of energy we tend to operate from
  • Ideas for how we can shift our energy
  • An increased ability to recognize the energy levels of those around us, helping us to be more effective in our interactions and as leaders

Bio:
Karin earned her PhD. in 2010, completed her coach training in 2021, and became a licensed psilocybin facilitator In March of this year. In between, she worked as a therapist, homeschooled two of her three kids, led support groups for new moms, and created and ran a community support organization of over 1000 people for folks in Washington County who were struggling to put food on the table during the pandemic. In addition to facilitating psilocybin sessions, she loves working with women and couples, helping them to feel more connected in their relationships and with themselves.

While in graduate school, Karin developed an expertise in a variety of psychological assessment tools. This fed her interest in the Energy Leadership Index (ELI), an attitudinal index that helps people recognize their strengths and what might be holding them back from realizing their full potential in all areas of their lives.
