Mitchell Martin is one of the nation’s largest staffing companies, with offices throughout the US as well as in India and the Philippines. We help drive success for both people and companies by helping them achieve positive growth. We do this by building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of the people we work with, in order to facilitate the best matches for both sides of the equation. Mitchell Martin was forged from socially-minded roots, and our passion for helping people hasn’t wavered. Our founder, Eugene Holtzman, was a social worker prior to starting the company in 1984. He then decided to combine his desire to help people with his belief that technology was the future of business. Today, both of those tenets still drive Mitchell Martin and have helped propel us to one of the largest IT staffing firms in the US. Speaker BioPat McGuckin is Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Region for Mitchell Martin. When you boil him down, he’s really just a staffing/recruiting professional. With an early career spent in sales and business development, Pat decided to couple that sales experience with staffing/recruiting in 2008 when he joined Yoh Services, a leading Managed Service Provider in Philadelphia. Following a 3 year stay with Yoh Services, Pat moved to NTT DATA, which allowed him to gain valuable experience in hands-on IT recruiting and understanding the candidate experience. When a business development opportunity presented itself with NTT DATA, Pat jumped at the opportunity, as it gave him a chance to combine his experience in recruiting with helping his clients develop staffing strategies to meet their goals. In 2018, Mitchell Martin came calling, as they wanted to open a Philadelphia location. For the past 8 years, Pat has led the charge to establish and grow relationships with clients in the Delaware Valley and beyond. Pat strives to develop transparent partnerships with his clients to help them find the best talent the market has to offer. In doing so, that talent finds a rewarding career and his clients achieve success in their projects. Pat is a native of South Jersey (Williamstown) and now lives in Oreland, PA with his wife (Rachel), sons (Jack & Ryan), daughter (Molly), and beloved labradoodle (Hooper).
