Moderator: Chad Macy, President, The HT Group 

Chad Macy has 30 years of leadership experience helping organizations of all sizes through Advisory, Deliverable-Based, and Managed Services models. Known as a trusted advisor and confidant to the C-Suite, Chad provides executives with a confidential sounding board to navigate complex business and technology challenges. Under Chad’s leadership, The HT Group’s bench of experts has guided numerous companies through their AI journeys — from initial education and vision-setting to strategy development, use case creation, and execution.  Deeply embedded in the tech community, Chad actively contributes through board involvement, memberships, and strategic sponsorships. He currently serves on the MIS Advisory and Steering Committees at UT Austin’s McCombs School of Business, chairs the Advisory Board for InnoTech Austin and the SIM IT Executive of the Year Awards, and leads several key initiatives, including the C-Suite Women of IT Dinner Series and an annual Strategic Lunch & Learn Series for Austin executives.

 Carlos Enrique Ortiz is a seasoned technology leader with a career spanning over two decades across AI, machine learning, automation, and software engineering. As Director of AIML at SHI International, he leads enterprise-scale initiatives in GenAI, conversational agents, automation, and AI governance. His work has powered innovations at Amazon, Starbucks, and Univoice, and he holds multiple patents. A published author and former NASA Silver Snoopy Award recipient, Carlos Enrique brings a unique blend of technical depth and visionary leadership to the evolving AI landscape.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Author, Keynote Speaker, Shark Biologist, Entrepreneur, Black belt, Hacker, Cybersecurity and AI Professional, Technologist, Dad, and Pastor are few terms that have been used to describe Mano Paul. Mano is a shark biologist turned CTO at Driven Brands, Technical Fellow and Global Information Security Manager at General Motors, and Dell and CEO at SecuRisk Solutions and PRISMAGuard. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Texas, a Master of Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, a BBA in MIS from the University of Oklahoma, and a B.S.in Zoology from the University of Chennai, India. Additionally, he holds several information security and AI certifications.
