Navigating the Maze: Who Is Really Shaping AI in the United States?
Artificial intelligence is no longer on the horizon; it is a powerful force actively reshaping American industry, society, and daily life. Yet, as this technology accelerates, its governance remains a dangerously fragmented landscape. In the United States, a complex tug-of-war is underway, pitting federal ambition against state-level experiments and the immense influence of the tech giants who build and deploy these systems. This talk will cut through the noise to analyze the current state of U.S. AI policy. We will dissect key federal initiatives and emerging state laws to understand what rules are actually taking shape. More critically, we will explore what is being left unaddressed and who stands to benefit from these gaps. You will leave with a clearer understanding of the forces at play and the critical questions we must answer to forge a coherent and effective path forward. About our speaker:
