Training IT Service Desk & Onboarding New Employees and Devices

 
The Service Desk Roundtable will meet to discuss topics including:
  • Keeping IT service desk staff up-to-date on essential applications is crucial for providing effective support to company employees.
    • This roundtable will explore how IT departments are tackling this challenge, sharing best practices and innovative strategies for training and professional development.
    • We will discuss methods for continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and ensuring staff have the skills needed to support a dynamic technological environment.
  • IT service desk's crucial role in the onboarding process for new staff and their devices.
    •  We will discuss strategies for streamlining the technical aspects of onboarding, from provisioning hardware and software to setting up user accounts and providing initial support.
    • The discussion will also explore the broader role of the IT department in creating a seamless and welcoming experience that sets new employees up for success from day one.
