About the Session:
Traditional governance, risk, and compliance programs often lag behind the speed of innovation—and erode trust instead of engineering it. In this session, the authors of the GRC.Engineering Manifesto reimagine GRC as an engineered capability, not a back-office function. They’ll share how forward-thinking IT leaders can embed governance, risk, and compliance into their systems, culture, and architecture—creating “compliant-by-design” environments that move as fast as their business. Attendees will learn pragmatic steps to shift-left on trust, treat GRC as a product, and use automation and data engineering to turn audits into assurance and compliance into competitive advantage. About the Speakers:

With 13+ years of experience in information security, spanning many domains across security operations/engineering/architecture and GRC, he's on a mission to help transform GRC practices inside and outside his organizations to be highly effective and efficient. He led the co-authoring of the GRC Engineering Manifesto and helps foster knowledge sharing and collaboration within the GRC Engineering community via the GRC Engineering Community LinkedIn Group, Discord Server, and GitHub Organization
