From Boomer to Zoomer–Managing the Evolving Workforce Have you ever stopped to think that prior to 2020 we'd spent decades experimenting to find the "best" way to work? From private offices to cubes to open spaces with ping pong tables and collaboration areas, we still hadn't figured it out. Then, in an instant, we were forced to work from home offices, bedrooms, living rooms, or dining room tables. During the pandemic years, an entire generation joined the workforce without ever stepping foot in a traditional office setting—and many still haven't. So how do we create a harmonious workplace environment when generational experiences of work are so vastly different? We start by realizing there is no one "best" way to work and taking time to understand what each generation brings to the table and what they need to thrive. In this session, we'll explore why generational expectations around work have shifted so dramatically and share practical strategies for bridging the gaps to bring everyone together. Speaker: Rebecca Achurch With nearly three decades of experience in non-profit and association management and technology, Rebecca Achurch brings a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for fostering trust in long-term partnerships. She excels in aligning an organization’s strategic goals and internal culture with the ideal technology solutions, creating and executing plans that drive success and empower teams. As the founder and CEO of Achurch Consulting, Rebecca prioritizes a people-first approach. She and her team specialize in optimizing technology implementations by providing tactical insights, inspiring effective technology use, and modeling change and project management.
