Meet Dorota Shortell: Dorota Shortell is the CEO and co-owner of Simplexity Product Development, an engineering design services company that specializes in custom design of electro-mechanical hardware products, such as robotics, consumer electronics, wearables, and biotech automation. Simplexity has offices in San Diego, CA, Vancouver, WA and Seattle and has been in business for over 20 years. Dorota has been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as a Forty under 40 Award winner as well as an Executive to Watch. Simplexity has created a sustainably positive culture and has won multiple Best Places to Work awards. Dorota holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Loyola Marymount University, an MSME from Stanford University, and has completed the Executive Leadership Program at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
