About the Session:

Join us for an overview of the newly launched SIM Leadership Institute Team Excellence Award—SIM’s first nationwide program dedicated to recognizing and celebrating outstanding technology teams across our Chapters.

This Chapter-driven, nationally supported initiative elevates the incredible work happening across the SIM community by highlighting teams that deliver meaningful impact through leadership, innovation, collaboration, and execution. The program is designed to be flexible and easy to adopt: Chapters with an existing team recognition process can integrate seamlessly, and Chapters without a program can use the provided resources to launch one quickly.

During this webinar, we’ll walk through the program’s national structure, objectives, timeline, and evaluation criteria, and introduce the resources created to support local implementation, including:

• The Program Guide (structure, objectives, timeline, evaluation criteria)

• The Chapter Tool Kit (optional frameworks, templates, workflows, and promotional assets)

You’ll also meet the national leadership team for the program—Joe Bruhin (Chair) and Bill Waas (Vice Chair)—and learn how Chapters can participate, align local recognition with national visibility, and create a pathway to showcasing winning teams at SIM TechExec.

The program will be announced to the full SIM membership on February 16, and this session is a great opportunity to get your Chapter ready and ask questions live.
