SIM Detroit is excited to invite the members to watch the “red
hot” Detroit Pistons team on April 2nd (They are playing
Minnesota Timberwolves) at 7 pm. Prior to the game, we
have an exciting speaker from Consumer’s Energy (Aaron
Rajda, Chief Digital Officer) to discuss their journey of
Becoming a Digital First Company.

5:00 pm - Arrive at Heritage Hall in Little Caesars Arena

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm - Presentation by Aaron Rajda. Soda and water available.

6:30 pm - We start to walk to East Gondola in LCA. Food, Drinks available.

Consumers Energy will share the journey they’ve been on to build and scale an agile system of software delivery, build and develop talent, and deliver outcomes
that matter for our customers, crews, and co-workers.  Aaron Rajda, their Chief Digital Officer, will share lessons learned and insights from their Digital First
transformation. 

 

 

Aaron Rajda - Bio

 

 Aaron Rajda is the Chief Digital Officer at Consumers Energy, where he leads enterprise software engineering, data, and analytics as part of the company’s transformation into a Digital First energy company. His team is responsible for modernizing core application platforms, advancing engineering practices, and scaling analytics capabilities that power both operational excellence and customer experience. Before joining Consumers Energy, Aaron held senior technology leadership roles focused on large-scale application portfolios, software-driven transformation, and analytics-enabled decision making. Across his career, he has led the modernization of legacy systems, the adoption of cloud-based architecture, and the development of action-oriented data and analytics platforms.
